One-time tasks
Create a task, assign one or more permitted employees, add due date/time, priority, instructions, and optional attachments.
Recurring work
Support repeat rules for daily, weekly, monthly, selected weekdays, and advanced recurrence patterns when configured.
Clear ownership
Show who created the task, who is assigned, when it is due, and its current status.
Task notifications
Notify assignees when work is assigned or materially changed; send due-soon/overdue reminders according to company notification settings.
Completion history
Record who completed the task and when. Preserve status history for manager review.
Attachments & photos
Allow supported photos/files to be attached where task communication requires evidence or context.
Manager views
Filter by employee, status, date, category, priority, or recurring series. Managers can see work at risk without opening each task.
Simple employee view
Employees primarily see My Tasks, Today, Upcoming, and Overdue with obvious completion actions; advanced recurrence/admin controls stay out of their view.
Notifications
Notifications that match the workflow.
Alert behavior is configurable, so important tasks events can surface without turning every action into noise. Examples below use demo data.
