Profile basics
Store employee identity, role/category, manager relationship, status, and operational settings needed for OnShift HQ workflows.
Pay assumptions
Authorized managers can configure hourly or salary assumptions used for estimated labor reporting; this is not a payroll record.
Attendance summary
Show permitted counts and patterns such as late arrivals, late break returns, missed punches, and recent time history.
Action log
Managers can create structured accountability records with reason, category, occurrence number, date, severity, notes, attachments, creator, and history.
Acknowledgment
Where enabled, employee acknowledgment can record that the employee received/reviewed the action without implying agreement.
Shift notes
Optional manager or employee shift notes can preserve context about a day when company policy enables them.
Audit history
Important profile and action-log changes preserve who created/changed them and when.
Advanced section
Sensitive or nuanced controls belong in Advanced profile sections so the ordinary profile remains easy to scan.

Notifications that match the workflow.
